He is said to be a Dread Minstrel of 109th level. Hailing from Bonekeep Gloombringers in the Deadlands, he is said to be bald, have wild eyes and dark skin. His athletic figure, proudly displaying his nasty scar has been sighted rushing into battle with a sinister warcry of "The Gloom shall swallow your soul...".

When girded for battle, he is known to wield his Annoying Little Ditty (Flaming), and is arrayed in his Peasants Garb. Foes are said to wither before the might of his Out of Tune Flute.

Xonomai is often seen riding into battle on his Phantom Steed.
