He is said to be a Storm Lord of 197th level. Hailing from Thundermount College in the Mountain Kingdoms, he is said to have shoulder length hair, blue eyes and fair skin. His graceful figure has been sighted rushing into battle with an amorous warcry.

When girded for battle, he is known to wield his Arch Mage Skybreaker Staff (Fabled), and is arrayed in his Elaborate Robe of the Arch Mage (Jolly Good) and Living Quartz Amulet (Fin). Foes are said to wither before the might of his Grimoir of Infinite Storms (Jolly Good).

Maccabeus is often seen riding into battle on his Fine Steed.
