Open Immortal Powers Part 2
20 June, 2010
  • As we come into the final stages of refinement for the powers available to Immortal players, we're ready to unveil 3 more of the powers you're able to select each time you remort

    Flaming Weapons
Whether its a blazing scimitar, outfitting your zombie army with fiery weapons, or loading your stomping golem colossus with exploding cannonballs, the ability to cause more damage with fire is a tried a true method of winning fights.  In addition to a constant bonus, with the expenditure of an AP, you can further bolster your armaments to new heights of incineration ability.

    Invisibility
The simple edge of not being seen grants a massive advantage over your enemies.  Being able to turn invisible between fights allows you to avoid hits, and cause incredibly painful wounds to your foes. Sadly, the down side is that this power will often wear off suddenly if your opponent is lucky enough to land a hit on you regardless. Until that happens though, you will always have the upper hand in a fight!

    Immortal Avenger
If you're the type who always likes to have the last word, then the Immortal Avenger power is for you.  The more you're wounded in battle, the more likely you are to get a bonus after the fight, just as further proof that you're better than everyone else.  This power is great for counteracting those unlucky streaks that eventually happen to everyone, whether it's getting a counterattack to automatically dish a wound back to anyone who hits you (really unfair against minions), getting extra XP for a fight, or beating a foe so soundly that extra loot pops out of them like a piniata.  Be prepared to never suffer a setback again without compensation... usually.
