Open Immortal Powers Part 1

  • Here's a sneak preview of 3 of what we call 'open' immortal powers.  Whenever you remort (whether it's your first or tenth time) you get to select one of these powers to add to your character, granting them the ability to do something regular characters simply do not get.


    Death Aura
    Ever wanted to make enemies drop dead like flies simply for getting in your way? Death Aura is the choice for you! Characters with this power gain a huge bonus to their AR for a long time, making them a killing machine.  Beware though, to activate this power you need to spend some time performing rituals or something, so it'll cost you 1 AP.  Add to that, whenever you're hit, your aura can degrade slightly, eventually wearing out completely if you suffer enough wounds.  But hey, with killing powers like this, it's the baddies who need to worry about the wounds, not you!

    Immortal Knowledge
    Think you know better? Now you have proof! Characters who select this power gain the unquestionably awesome advantage of an additional 5 skill points at level 1.  Love those extra wounds? Easy! Prefer to get all those skills against group enemies? Not a problem! Absolutely want the best price with all those haggling skills from day one? They're yours! 

    Time Twister
    Simply put, you've managed to make contact with a time elemental who works in a casino.  He could care less about gold though, it's your Action Points he's after! He's willing to give you a 50 50 chance at doubling any AP gambled, or taking the whole lot and laughing in your face about it.  Not for the faint of heart, this power can make you a fortune in AP or get you angry enough to rage in forums about our random number generator.  Cos you know, that always helps. Honest.
