He is said to be a Black Seer of 37th level. Hailing from Bonekeep Dawnhalters in the Deadlands, he is said to have tied back hair, blue eyes and pasty skin. His average figure, proudly displaying his nasty scar has been sighted rushing into battle with a sinister warcry of "Dark Lords, gift me your power!".

When girded for battle, he is known to wield his Demonhide Tome of Oblivions Touch, and is arrayed in his Voidweave Robes of the Eyeless Prophet and Voidsteel Glasses of Shadows. Foes are said to wither before the might of his Midnight Sceptre of Oblivion.

Grendothrape is often seen riding into battle on his Phantom Steed.
